Who we are
Max24 is an independent digital news and updates site published at max24.news. This policy covers the website, accounts, comments, public forms, first-party analytics, and related services we operate.
We do not sell personal information. We use information to run the site, moderate abuse, respond to messages, and understand aggregate readership.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Max24, we may collect:
- Account details you provide: name, email address, and a hashed password. You may also add a profile photo and a short public title.
- A short public user ID we assign to your account.
- Public activity tied to an account: comments, likes, saves, shares, category follows, and comment reports.
- Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, subject, inquiry type, and message).
- Correction requests (name, email, story link, issue type, details, and an optional evidence link).
- Sponsor inquiries (business name, contact name, email, and optional phone, website, package, placement, budget, dates, and message).
- First-party analytics aggregates: country code (from the hosting/CDN request, not a stored IP address), device type, referrer host, and counts of page or story views.
- A short-lived hash derived from connection and browser signals, used only to rate-limit forms and visit counts. We do not store raw IP addresses for analytics.
- Files you upload when the product allows it, such as a profile photo, stored with our media host.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Operate accounts, sessions, and core site features
- Publish and display comments and other user-submitted content you choose to post
- Moderate spam, abuse, and policy violations
- Review correction requests and reply to contact or sponsor messages
- Count readership in aggregate (including country-level totals) so we can operate and improve the site
- Measure first-party sponsor placements (for example views or clicks on ads we serve)
- Produce Urdu versions of some stories using a machine-translation provider (we send article text, not your account password)
- Protect the service and meet legal requests we are required to handle
Analytics
Analytics on Max24 are first-party. We record aggregate story views and site visits with a country code, a coarse device type, and a referrer host. We do not use a third-party audience-tracking pixel as part of the core product.
These counts help us understand which stories are read and from which countries. They are not sold as individual profiles.
Advertising and sponsorships
Max24 may show first-party promotions, sponsor placements, or labeled sponsored stories. Sponsors may receive campaign summaries such as dates, views, clicks, and placement status. We do not hand sponsors your account email or private profile for that purpose.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including hashed passwords and access-controlled admin tools. No website can promise complete security.
Retention
We keep account, comment, form, and analytics records as long as needed to operate the service, handle disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete an account or a specific submission; we will review requests we can reasonably fulfill.
Your choices
You may update profile details where the account screens allow it, edit or delete comments where the product supports it, and manage browser storage and cookies. For access, correction, or deletion requests that the product does not handle itself, email syed.aqeelabbas54294@gmail.com. We do not operate a formal GDPR rights portal and we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
Children
Max24 is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will review it.
International access
The site may be hosted and accessed from more than one country. If you use Max24, your information may be processed where our hosting and service providers operate. Privacy rights vary by place. This policy describes what we actually do; it does not claim compliance with every local statute.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The public page will show a revised last-updated date.
